On the 27th of September, we had a session with Sr. Biji Jose CMC, member of the Child Right's Commission. The session had been organized with the intention of making us, future teachers aware of the various rights of children and in particular the POCSO Act. As we were soon to be sent to schools for Induction program, our college management found it necessary to give us some basic information on the legal provisions of and for children.

Onam Celebration 2019
To make up for lost chance of celebrating onam in 2018 due to Kerala floods, this year we organized a spectacular onam celebration at college. The college management initiated the celebration by hanging a swing for us which is a mandate in the onam season. We had created a floral carpet, decorated the premises and organized a scrumptious lunch. The event was graced by the performances of our teachers and colleagues.

Teacher's Day Celebration 2019
On the 5th of September, we the juniors and seniors had organized a celebration for our beloved teachers. The session began with welcome addresses and felicitations. In between all of this we had planned a surprise for our dearest principal Ms Geetha. We had invited her favorite student V S Kaikasi (without her knowledge), recipient of the prestigious Best Educationist Award (2015) as the chief guest of our program. We witnessed emotional scenes as our principal madam was so overwhelmed and out of words on being with her beloved student once again.
We did plan a lot of fun games for our teachers like dumb charades, identifying the person with childhood images, bomb in the city etc.We expressed our love through a handmade gift of glass painting handcrafted jointly by the seniors and the juniors.
Handcrafted gifts..
Happiness is gifting your beloved class teacher your creation, dearest Sreekutty Ms

24th of August was that much awaited day. Though the program was for one day...we were going for a trip!!! As our curriculum demanded, we were to have a trip to relevant locations i.e, places that were somehow related to our area of study and draft a report on it. The places we had chosen are; Sunil's Wax Museum, Priyadarshini Planetarium and Biodiversity Park.

Social Visit
On 22 August we visited a nearby old age home called 'Kripatheeram' located at Vellayani. We were so eager to meet grandma's as nothing could replace the overwhelming love we received from them. We had charted a set of interactive games and cultural events for them. We got to spend quality time with them as we spoke with them for some while. Many at times all that we would ever want is someone to talk to. Both us and the grandma's felt sad when it was time to part.

Resource Class on Life Skills
One fine day we were confronted with a rather 'respectable looking' lady who graced us all with her pleasant smile. From our principal we got to know that she was her colleague Ms Rajeshwari who was at our college to take a session on life skills. We really had a wonderful time that day as we were saved from our routine boring lectures which were replaced by though provoking stories and life accounts.
Ms Rajeshwari informed us on the core life skills:
